Historical at HeartI’ve realized that sooner or later I have to go home; not for me but for my mother. I’ve often tried to tell her that she doesn’t need me there. She has two other children to coddle but this doesn’t matter. She misses her eldest. She misses her first baby even though I’m hardly as adorable as I was twenty years ago.
